i was told you cant get dumbo mice in the uk yet are they not fancy mice?

to be honest I didn't realize thweir was a difference i thougt big ears = dumbo.
I didn't intend to breed i thought I'd purchased 3 girls so i'm not the most knowledgeable mouse person

I think i can remember a thread on RFUK about dumbo mice and there is one know breeder of them in the UK.

But yea more than likely that you have some very nicely bred mice

I know a guy in Washington 'says' his mice are dumbo but I've seen them and they're not.
They are just show line mice.

They are just show mice with normal ears, as far as I can tell.
In any event I have mice that are bigger and they do have bigger ears too.

i had some dumbo mice, got them off guy when i was still in Ireland.. they have bigger ears (very noticeable) whilst body size same as my others .
i don't have them anymore just texels .
there are a few private breeders here in France.

mice breed at such a rate, i sersiouly doubt only one person in the uk would have them.. they must have sold some on..
anyway, how can they be worth anymore than normal mice? simply coz they have ears in the wrong place?? lol.. funny what we pay extra for tho

The ones up here that were being sold as 'dubmo's' were in fact just show type.
I've not heard of anyone in the UK with the as yet.

Apparently there was talk of some being imported at the back end of last year but I dotn' know if this every happened!
