As long as threes no chemical which there may be in a garden centre then i cant imagine it being bad but better check with the species just to be safe.
Good shout! Prob should of said that, but a couple of garden centres near to me sell the moss bagged free from contamination, chemicals etc. I have seen it when doing my garden shopping and thought hmmmmmm.
But, yeah Mental note check the info.....:2thumb:
Aldi normally sells a big bag of sphagnum moss, but it is quite expensive. My dads company used to sell it for hanging baskets and believe it or not, it is illegal to harvest it without a license. :gasp: Think thats why its so expensive.
