I just use damp kitchen roll in mine and ive never had any problems with my geckos shedding. You can use moss though if you want it too have the more natural look :D

Can I ask what is this foam stuff and where do I buy it from? I wouldnt mind doing this but I dont know where to begin :?

looks like a very nice tank you have there im sure beans and chips and soon to be waffle will be happy in that! Looks fab babe xxx

so you buy it from DIY shops? Does it set solid or do you have to coat it in something to make it solid and waterproof?

any DIY shops, its made by unibond and can be bought in B&Q for £6 per can (1 can did 1 half of the viv)

it sets solid as a rock, cut it to the desired shape ith a hack saw blade, and pick random pieces out wth your fingers to get a rocky effect... spray the whole thing in plasticote spray paint, and inally coat the entire thing in clear varnish to seal it all in....

finished sparaying and shaping the left hand sie tonight, and put in the firstset of glass runners. will post pics when the glass in in tomorrow.

Ms.Gibbs-tobe..... shut it or there will be a nice snake going into that tank not a pretty little lizard as i promised
