What is a pedipalt? I am guessing it is the bit that looks like a mini leg by his eyes???

Poor little chap - will he be okay with just 7 legs?

The missing leg will grow back, over a few moults. Pedipalps are small legs (claws on a scorpion) used to gather prey up to the fangs/chelcerie, also used to a degree when the spider burrows. As other poster suggests, maybe increase humidity slightly, moulting problems usually due to dryness/low humidity. Mist the enclosure with fine sprayer/atomiser from time to time.
