Hi,
I am after some advice on buying a new thermostat for my bearded dragons vivarium as the one I already have is only good for heat mats, well that's what I have been told. I am running a ceramic heat bulb in my vivarium which is 4,2,2.
If anyone could give me some advice on which would be the best thermostat to buy it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

A mat stat is fine for ceramics or anything that isn't light emitting; although the on and offing will shorten the life of the bulb. the best stat for a ceramic is a pulse stat.

A pulse or a dimming stat will do the job.
Most people use pulse stats.

I use habistat and micro-climate both as good as each other.
Never used a day/night one so can't give an opinion.
