Hi

I have 5 Bucks and 5 Does for sale

£15 each or £25 a pair (if mixed sex pair you will need to set up a split cage)

Nile rats are easy to keep, best off in a tank with mesh topper if planning on breeding or you can get away with a wire rat cage (1cm bars) if you were after a same sex pair. They are fed a mix of fruitti guinea-pig food, with added small bird seed (I use an aviary mix), fresh carrot and greens, a few meal worms for protein.

They are quite a nervous rat, but can become very tame with time. Adults grow to about 25cm in length nose to tail, and resemble large african grass mice in body shape (hence their other name, unstriped grass mice!)

Please PM for futher details, will post a pic when they stay still long enough:)

Thanks, David
