My friend used to breed them not long after they first came into this country and she said they weren't as placid and laid back as the Maine Coons (she also bred them), but as a breed she certainly liked them. Said they were a bit more 'wired up' than the Coons, but like the other semi-longhaired breeds, they liked company and to be around people - she just had a problem sometimes with their climbing abilities!! :lol2:
