God i thought my red knee just died....... just looked in her viv and she looked like she had exploded!! On closer inspection she is molting but up the right way is this normal thought they turned upside down, she had done the last 2 times.... help pls???
I wouldn't worry about it. A few of my spider have done this with no adverse effects. Just keep an eye on her as usual, make sure she is warm and has access to water. Spiders have no control over when they can moult, so maybe she didn't have time to flip over.
Shes ok thanks, all out now think shes tired shes huddled into a ball and looks smaller than she did before the molt :lol2: will post my picts in a bit.
I had a Theraphosa blondi die a couple of years back from moulting upright. It happened while i was away in Cuba, and by the time i got back her fangs had hardened pointing outwards so she couldn't eat
I'v never heard of a T moulting the right way up.....learning new things everyday!!
glad it worked out though matey :2thumb:
