Hey Bunnies,

We split our male leo from the two females about two weeks ago as they were bullying him. He seemed so much happier, but over last 3 days he seems really poorly. He's a hi yellow but has turned a dull brown colour, he seems lathargic and his eyes are sunken. However he's not lost any noticable weight, his tail is stil nice and fat even tho he hasn't eaten for a coupla days.

I'll take him to the vets asap, but does anyone have any advice in the meantime. I'm giving him an electrolyte bath as we speak, and when that's finished I'm gonna syringe him a mashed up waxie. Any idea what could be wrong with him?

Thanks guys,

Cand xx

maybe he is depressed cos you took him away from his girls? males can get very funny about that....they just aren't themselves and tend to mope around and not eat..

from a medical point of view he could have a slight infection and a trip to the vets and some antibiotics should cure...

i would go with the trauma of losing his female companionship but a trip to the vets never hurts.
