right Ive got 2 occelated skinks (altho ive heard a million names for them) so heres a pic so people know what im talkin about

i aint sure which is male or female or what, but i have a feeling that one of them could be pregnant......as she appears to be gettin a big lump towards the bottom end of her....shes still goin the toilet as usual so shes not jus blocking up, an its not jus her gettin fat as the weight gain is only in the stomach area, i was hoping that somebody might have some help to help me to try and figure out if she is pregnant.
she seems a little slower than usual and is not as active as the other, she did used to chase him all round the tank but doesn't really now. she's still eating fine, and is usually the second to get a go at food.

not sure, sorry, sounds likly though. would probably get an incubator set up ready, just in case. and try and make sure all her food is dusted with calcium. normally, near the end of the gravid period, they will go of there food, so this may be a sign!

My ocellated skink group recently reproduced-8, and so far. only one has died. They give live birth, and they are pregnant for AGES!!! My preggie female just seemed to grow and grow until I saw no fat skink, and eight little babies!!
Just leave her to it(if she's preggie), she knows what she's doing:). Be prepared to separate the babies when/if they come, and mine started eating size 2 cricks and mini mealies.

Hope this helps!

(It's good to see I'm not the only one that keeps these!): victory:
