I brought a eheim 2213 from amazon

And upon its arrival i discovered it had come from germany, no problem i thought, until ive just unboxed it all, it has a german 2 pin plug, has this now redeemed this useless as i live in uk, or will it be ok to run on an adaptor all the time??

just cut the plug off and put a uk plug on it will just have live and neutral in : victory:

Ours run off the adapters they came with.

Don't cut the plug off - :censor:'s law it will have a fault (although unlikely) and you will invalidate the guarantee/warranty!

I wont b sending it back to germany if it has a fault anyways i dont think, thats for the input everyone

Thanks for the reply people, so basically running a adapter will be fine then, it'll obviously be on 24/7, i thought of chopping the plug but was still unsure and i dont think id send it back to germany under warrenty anywho 😄

Ours are on 24/7 and have been for years without issues.

You wouldn't send it back to Germany if it was faulty, first port of call would be Amazon!
