Will the arcadia florescent compact bulb (23w) fit in the reflector clamp lamp (140mm) not including the mesh cover?

or will the bulb be too long for it to sit on the top of a terrarium?

Also does anyone know how often the compact lamps need to be changed?

Thank you!!! :)

All Arcadia branded lamps are guaranteed to be upper index potent for 12 months based on 10-12 hours a day and a cool running environment

Thank you for your help John.

I have another question for you sorry!

If i was to get the compact lamp reflector would the 7% UVB be enough for a crestie through both the mesh and the gard on the reflector or would the 10% one better?

The 20cm clamp lamp is a bit big for the top of the terrarium.

Sorry im a bit new to this and its difficult knowing what is best to get.

Yes use the D3 7%. that will be fine for that viv. When you go to an 80cm high one you could use the UVFLOOD then. that would work very well if the viv was planted properly
