Hi people,

I bought a Salmon boa 2 months ago, when I purchased her she was sold as a Salmon boa (50% het. pos hetro sharp albino)

Would someone please clarify what this suggests? Im presuming its to do with possible outcome if I breed her?

Sorry for my ignorance!!!

There's a breeding section on the forum (I'm sure), where explanations are given.

I think If you breed her with a sibling, or another boa with identical traits, you have 50% chance of recieving Sharp Albinos... Now I'm not sure, so don't quote me, I'm sure some specialist will be along soon.....

The 50% het sharp albino bit means there is a 50% chance that it has the gene for sharp albino.
Exactly, the 50% means that their is a 50/50 chance that she inherited the albino gene from a parent (not sure whether its the female or male without knowing the parentage, but could be either).
