what age do Rainbow Boas breed at.And is there certain time of year they do it?
Would a 40inchx3ft be big enough for 2 Rainbows??

not brazilian. Paraguyaun. They will grow to a MAX of foot.

ah right, then i think you will be more than fine with that cage size! I acctually don't know too much about these snakes...

not the best idea to have 2 snakes in the same vivarium !!! would be a total no no to be honest :wink: except at breeding time!!

I had paraguayans till recently, a breeding pair. I didnt breed them myself but the previous owner did in a 4 x 2 x 18" viv.
Theyre a rare snake in captivity not many people I know no about them but they breed well.

so will my tank be big enough? 40inch long by 3ft tall and 15inch deep

I would like it longer and deeper really as adults are really not that arboral.
They need the length to be able to breed aswell really, the female I had was around 5 foot long at least and the male 4 so need the length really.

Hiya pics added on here, I no longer have them as went off boas really onto pythons and corn but not going onto just corns really :lol:

Thats one of their babies from 2004 that I now have.

And here are some pics of the adults, male first female 2nd.
