i have been given 2 adult redfoot tortoise of a friend of the family,they thing is they dont seem to be eating,they wont move just set in the same corner all day unless i moved them, i have put them in my shed which is insulated the shed temp is around 22c and under the spot light its 29/32, so my question is, is my shed to cold is that why they wont move all eat, i have had them for under a week now.

It does sound like it is too cold.These are a tropical tortoise so won't like it in the shed.If you go to www.shelliedwarroirs.co.uk i found a link to a website on these guys.I've got a cherry head which is a dwarf of yours and i also find it hard to get good info on them but this site was good.Hope this helps you :smile:

What's your humidity like? The most common problem with redfoots is respiratory due to low humidity. You want it upwards of 80.
