i wouldn't breed them unless you are very experianced with them, there is alot to know and alot of preperation. but the main bit of advice i would give you would be that the Female ball python should weigh at least 500 grams for every foot they measure in length, i.e., if the female is 4 feet long, she should weigh at least 2000 grams before she is bred. Males should weigh a minimum of 500 grams, but 800 is a healthier place to start.
hi thaks 4 replyin i have 2 a male and female they hav been kept together and hav been mating i just wanted to know how long roughly will it be for me to know if she is gravid
are they being kept together for a few days for mating or do they live together?, you shouldn't really house two ball pythons together! and what are their weights?
