I got my kids advent calendars yesterday! Nice Cadbury ones, otherwise I always leave it to the last minute and they end up with those horrible german (?), well foreign chocolate ones anyway, u know the ones I mean. With something pants on the front, and every mornin I have to watch their twisted little faces as they try and choke down the skanky little choc like it's some kind of treat!! Not fun, and hardly festive eh? LOL! :lol:

Im not a big lover of christmas even as a kid i wasnt overly fussed.


To me Christmas now is not what it should be.Its now too comercialised so the true meaning of Christmas has been lost.Half the kids nowadays dont really know what they are celebrating its just a chance for more toys,bikes and games consoles etc

I love doing the xmas pressie shopping and watching the kids open their pressies but the rest of the day is just one long chore of clearing away wrapping paper,cooking, washing up, clearing away more paper and more cooking and washing up :roll: :lol:

Christmas for me is just a nice day to relax.. have a few drinks.. watch some crap TV and do very little. The one thing I look forward to at Christmas is the dinner... mmm mmmm Last Christmas I asked for very little present wise and got that.. while my brother got tons of stuff.. as a kid that bothered me but its just a day off for me now.
