I have two bioactive tanks at the moment, both have springtails and dwarf tropical woodlice.
One tank is ticking along perfectly, the other smaller one is infested with the springtails- they seem to have gone crazy. It's a small snail tank and it's got that when I put food in its literally covered in them. Anyone have advice on lowering the numbers? I tried drying it out but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
Thanks

If they're surviving in that large a number than there is a food source for them. Find the food source and they will lower in number
Or pull a load out and split between your other tanks

I agree, harvest them and share them with your other systems and friends :)
