Hi All,
Just a quick question - one of our young Royals was seperated for a few hours from the other 3 he has been living quite happily with for the past month - and he let off a most horrendous 'stink' - it was stomach churning. Also, Nikki's young Burmese did the same when we took it on an outing to my Parents house - it was investigating the casing of my Fathers bandsaw, and when Nikki stopped him entering one of the openings in said saw, it also let off a stink! Has anyone heard of this or had experience of it?

sounds like he's musking to me, is there any discharge with the smell?

That'll be musking. Basically they release a bad odour from their anal scent glands as a defensive measure.
