Hey guys and girls, just bought 1.1 el salvador boa's the other day, currently keeping them on orchid bark (what i had in at the time) and was told they will be fine on it.
my OH went to buy some more orchid bark, as i used the last of it on the boa's, and was told that orchid bark isn't good for boas, and it will make them ill. she didn't know what to do, and bought beech chips which the shop suggested. (i really don't like beech chip, but anyway..)
Basically, i'm wanting to know, IS orchid bark bad for the boa's? they're 2 and a half years old (pictures are in the snake pictures thread titled El Salvador Boa's)
Any input on this would be a good help.
Thanks :2thumb:
