We have 8 of the little monsters. Gorgeous little animals, extremely nocturnal, omnivorous, have to watch the Ca:p similar to igs, beardies etc. to prevent HLP.

2:1 Ca:p is the ratio we aim for here.

How have we found them? Gorgeous litle creatures, they all have their own unique personalities and foibles. Being a colony animal they need to be kept in at least a pair (2 females, male/female (but will get joeys unless male neutered), or a male/male pair (but one must be neutered)).

There's plenty of information on their care here and Marie is a whizz when it comes to sugar gliders, they also stock loads of yummies and specialised food for the more unusual mammal pets: http://www.shropshire-exotics.co.uk/sgliders7.htm

They can nip, but very rarely draw blood and it's usually when young and they are trying to decide if you are food or not. As adults oours very rarely bite, in fact one of our pairs has never bitten me at all and will even let us handle very young joeys from the nest which shows just how welll they can bond with their keepers.

We do let ours out in the living room on occasion but they are not toilet trainable and you must be careful to make sure there is nothing that they could harm themselves on/ingest.

If you ever get the chance to go to Shropshire Exotics do it! Rich and Marie the owners are some of the nicest people I have met and it's a cracking shop with some really nice, well looked after animals.

Hi Lee, Mad Dan Eccles is doing really well and has fathered 3 sets of healthy twins so far possibly 4, Niki has two very large lumps at the moment so we think it is more than likely she is carrying twins again.

Super, Must take after his dad. Glad my first baby is doing well.

Honey's just had twins which should be leaving next week as long as I'm happy they can look after them selves. They seem to be doing fantastic :D
