just clean the tank in normal water if any crusty residue is left soak and use something like a plastic spatula to ease it off

as its a new tank you will have to cycle it and test the water anyway before use what fish are you thinking of keeping??

one of my tanks is ex-marine use and never had any probs :mf_dribble:

tank cleaner

I have 3 tanks and have used the same cleaner for a long time. I have a hard time remembering to buy some so I end up ordering it online. It sells in bigger bulk there anyway. The kind I like is called Algae Destroyer and it has never let me down. Hope this helps anyways!!!
