anyone help?my friend got 2 unrelated tegu's and the female has a broken tail that the breeder didnt tell him about before he sent them up,it wasn't done in transit and it is an old wound.will the tail grow back?the tegu's are juveniles..any info would be great.
i know when my i bought my iguana'a it's tail was off it and grew back it look's fine now just not as long as it should be.

im not too sure but i was told that all lizards may shed their tail if they are picked up by it and it mightened grow back until properly treated.

it should grow back fine given the right care and attension as already said just keep an eye on it

Im sure tegus can grow back their tails. Its monitor lizards that cant....I think :?

I am sure there like Iggs, they grow back, but not perfectly and are slighlty black, short & stumpy, i may be wrong :|

cheers for the help guy's,i know f all about tegu's..lol...but i'll pass it on to my mate.he's just annoyed he's got 2 tegu's and one is well...not all there so to speak..lol.
