i have my snakes in tubs on heat mats,i have just switched over from a mat stat to a pulse but my temps are all over the place

Pulse stats are far more accurate than mat stats IMO, whats your set up like? I'm assuming you've got a rack?

Ok but can you explain how it's set up?

Where your probe is, what temps it's set at, what it used to be set at, what temp do your termometers read, what kind of thermomenters are you using?

Sorry loads of questions but your op was a tad vague.

I've had issues getting my rack heated correctly with a pulse stat, for me it was a case of playing around till I got it right.

pulse stats have a minimum load so if you are using less than that load.......they won't work properley.
I seem to remember for habistat I think it was 40watt minimum....not certain though
Might be worthwhile getting more info on the pulse stat you have from the web
I know my microclimate B1 dimming stats go down to 5watt

total wattage of mats plugged into it is about 60w.it is a habistat
