right this will iether go really well or completely crash and burn:lol2:

i think it may be a good idea for members to post their tips and tricks and also information that you think more people need to know:2thumb:

for example: before using new substrate a zap in the microwave or night in the freezer will kill any unwanted pests (such as mites) wich the substrate could be harbouring (especially orchid bark)

another would be: if you plan to build your own vivariums make sure you use a safe wood, as some (such as pine) are toxic to snakes.

if ur snake doesn't eat, its not the end of the world, don't spend the nxt 72hrs trying to change its mind, wait a week, try again, they evolved to do without, so calm urself :)

if ur thinking of getting a new species, find a pic, vid, or keeper with an adult of the species, pastel balls, cute and bright in the egg, near normalish as adults

plastic guttering makes excellent hides, its very cheap, u can have them up to 8ft long, their light, washable and provide a dark tight hide, essential for nervous species and/or non feeders/
