I have a non-feeding royal (surprise surprise, :lol2:) and have been told to scent a mouse with a chick... Now either I'm being really stupid and it's exactly as it sounds (rub chick on mouse) or some other method...
I was also suggested that I could skin the chick and put that on the mouse... but how would it stay on the mouse?
Thanks for looking,
Dave

Thanks, Her environment should be absolutly fine (my other royal eats like a machine, :lol2:) and she's only about a year old and hasn't been eating for about 7/8 weeks, so I don't think it's that she just isn't hungry... But hopefully she will feed this week :2thumb:

I( didnt have to do it with a chick, but to scent a rat with a mouse, i rubbed the mouse all over the rat after defrosting together, and made the mouse bleed and got a lot of the blood, on the chick in your case and offered.

Worked for me first time, i also scented less and less each time and now its eating rats on its own, hope you get it going :D
