hi everybody sorry ive not been on for a while
im picking up a tortus tomorow i dont know anything about im looking after it for my step cousin ive not bben given any details outher than its in hibernation pls could sombody give me some tips on tortuses in hibernation

You will need to keep it very cool when transpoorting it back home. Ideally 5 degrees. the temp it should be at in hibernation. Please note that if the temps rise above 10 degrees max and the tort starts to wake up it must NOT be put back as this could well prove fatal to it. If this happens it MUST be overwintered at normal summer temps.
