For example it's supposed to be a good way of getting picky hognoses to eat when they hatch. I tried that with mine but rubbing the pinkies with trout seemed to work better : victory:
I have seen it used to encourage snakes whose natural diet is fish or amphibians. basically scent the mouse/rat with stinky tuna juice to get a feeding response.
take one pink, dip its butt in the juice from a tin of tuna..offer to snake.
You can also wash the pink then soak over night in the juices to really impregnate the pink.
ok so can you use the same method with a very fussy royal or is there any little tricks you guys know of sorry if i am hijacking this thread i just wanna see hissy eating again
