My friend has told me about a very strange reptile that lives in his front garden. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what exactly it is. This is the discription:
-Four claws on each hand
-Stands on back two legs very still for hours
-White or yellow coloration (not sure)
-Pig-like nose
-Smooth scales
-Noticable teeth
-Very short stubby tail, like a turtle
-Stands with mouth open
-Survives in Washington, USA climate which has short warm summers and long, cold, wet winters.
He calls it "old wippersnapper" and it stands either in a tree or on a birdbath. It stands on its back legs and dosent move for hours. I have looked in databases for anything like it and havent found a match. We think it is an escaped pet because their is a metal-cuff looking thing around its left arm. I know this sounds weird, but any help would be appreciated.
