Good homes urgently needed for 5 young pekin bantam cockerels, approx. 25 weeks old.
These are happy, handsome and healthy birds that came in as wrongly sexed with a batch of hens to a garden centre. As they have no resale value, the garden centre wants them gone ASAP - I have been given 2 weeks to try and find good homes for them before they are sent back to the breeder and ‘dispatched’.

They are currently living peacefully in two groups;
1 pair, brothers - 1 blue, 1 silver
1 trio, brothers - 1 white, 1 red/ginger, 1 lavender mottled (runt)

I am ideally looking to rehome them in groups but will split them if needed. They need to go to homes preferably with a pair or group of hens - not necessarily bantams, these boys will make dedicated guardians for ex battery hens too! Don’t worry - having a cockerel will not affect the edibility of eggs.

If you or someone you know may be able to help please text or call Hannah on 07955538562 - Please note you will need to arrange collection only from Abingdon, near Oxford.
