A Desert Hairy isn't a fat tail...
Most scorpions which have fat tails are usually Buthidae which are DWA .
Which has coincidently just answered a question i've just asked someone lol...
How stupid of me ...

Yeh, the scorpions with the impressively fat tails are all DWA unfortunately.

An adult Desert Hairy Scorpion (Hadrurus Arizonensis)

or Black Desert Hairy (Hadrurus Spadix) are a good alternative. Both have quite large tails.

Mark your spadix looks like no other iv ever seen.
spadix are identical to arizonensis other than for a lack of triangular tan colourated area over occular tubercule, unless theres a subspecies or sumut

it definately looks like a spadix, but it just looks so dark to me.

They're not pictures of mine...
I just pulled them off Martin Goss' site to show what they look like.
I do keep two 2 Desert Hairys myself but mine look alot smaller than the picture.
I'm pretty sure that the one in the picture i put up is heavily pregnant though.
