Just been told by my vet that my Water Dragon has an abcess most probably caused by a bit of food stuck into it's gum behind it's teeth, it's starting to make her feel quite uncomfortable when eating but she is still eating. I was just wondering if there is anything i can do to encourage her to eat more or anything to reduce the abcess, currently she's been given a 2 days worth of baytril and has a few more days to go on that before she goes back for more. wondering if theres anything else i can do? what about syringing honey? and powerade baths? help much appreciated :2thumb:

cheers for that, i was wondering about the honey considering they do eat flowers and nectar in the wild, sounds like a good idea then, she's always well hydrated, she's pretty good for that so that's not a problem, thanks alot :2thumb:
