im getting an aussie water python in a few weeks...i wanted to propper kit out the viv....does anyone know of any plants that are ok to put in the viv that wont harm the snake?

i dont now any plants sorry, but just woundering how big will he grow, and how big will the enclosure be? lovely looking snakes arn't they, just looked them up on google :D

alot of water will keep humidity up and a couple sprays a day.You could get a normal plant that is not toxic to snakes would that do?. You'll need ALOT of water wont you in the wet seoson the become almost fully aquatic.

The snake will trash them like everyone else has said and it they will need alot of maintainence. Use plastic plants instead, there are lot of realistic looking ones on the market now 8)
As for humidity just spray the viv a couple of times a day :wink:

looking trough some jacksons chameleon care sheets and clicked the wrong site, came up with non toxic plants list :D :lol: hope you find something ill add a link in a min
