Hi there,

I just been reading a tread about leos only taking waxworm & pinkies. Which, as a biginner, has made me think how often should you offer them? I've read some where that you feed pinkies once a month, is this about right? But what about waxworms?

waxwoms should really only be fed as a treat or to pregant leo's and skinny ones as they are very hgh in fat

what you really want to do with wax worms is keep them and give a couple occasionally, as opposed to one pot in one go occasionally.
if u keep them cool they last a while but if you just have a couple leos ur gona get a bit of waste as they do die.

but you get like 50 for £2.50 generally so u could feed a leo 3-5 a time once every 2 weeks and be ok, but after a month urd prolly have none left through them dieing if not used.

i feed my leos once a week or so with waxworms and i let them eat as many as they want in one sitting. then they dont get any for a week or so
