Been taking it easy with Moriarty the beardie I got. Spending lots of time in front of the viv' just talking to him, stroking his earholes with a dandelion leaf etc. Yesterday I picked him up. He wasn't overjoyed but no hissing and struggling. He just 'made like a pancake'.
This morning I picked him up again and held him for several minutes stroking him and talking to him and he was fine. Looks like he is learning to trust me and I'm delighted.

yay :D

beardies are ace... and it sounds like you're going about things the right way :2thumb:

although I think I prefer our way of getting to know each other... don't think I would have appreciated being stroked with Dandelion leaves! ;)

I loved having a beardie here again, even if it was just for the weekend.. they have such great characters!

Sounds like you are doing a great job:)

Mine watches every move I make when I am eating my meals at the table...he comes to the front of his viv and stays there til I am done:)
