Ive just weighed my snakes. They are corns and are 12 months old..

My female creamsicle is 200 grams and is nearly 3 feet long and my male is 120grams and just turned 2 feet long..these good weights and sizes or is she just a fatty?

According to the 333 rule it says I should weight till she is 3 to breed her but if she is 300 grams and next year would it be ok?

in the wild a female corn will breed at 1 year easy if shes wants, many tiny corns have been found carrying eggs.

you will find a small snake mostly produces small clutches of eggs, and will more than likely carry on producing small cluches of eggs for the rest of her life, it has also been noted that a young female thats allowed to produce eggs will have a stunted growth so will stay under the normal size for that type of snake.

so you dont recommend breeding her next year? by next year i mean like jan 2008..

i breed from min 250 grams.. and never under 2 years.
length, well they often well over 3 ft by the time they reach these weights anyway.
but as genetic says, dont breed too you as it is known to stunt further growth.
your snakes will easier breed by 2008
