Anyone know how much I'd be looking to pay for a young Western Hognose? I've been thinking about getting one for a while, I know about husbandry but I am wondering about prices and/or local breeders.

Can anyone help me?

Pet shop prices are between £75 and £90 currently (on average) with breeders asking closer to the £50 mark.
They have been in demand this year, so there are fewer around than in previous years and prices have been higher this season than last too.

Not sure who has any about this year though as I dont buy hatchlings.
Sorry I cant be more help!

NI is considerably more expensive in terms of livestock anyway, but £180 is a rip off, I wouldnt pay anything near that, even for a huge proven female!

A-Town Exotics in Swanley said they can get them for £65, and someone mentioned to me recently that there were some in a shop in Sevenoaks, though can't remember the name.
