just got myself a western hognose today is there anything other than the usual i should be looking out for or providing,think i got most of it covered but will ask just incase :wink: cheers

If it bites (which is HIGHLY unlikely) don't let it chew you lol ;)
I dunno, they are real easy to care for. Good eaters for the most part too.

I use hemp substrate for mine and she loves burrowing through it. She's also got a plastic leafy thing she likes to hide behind, a branch and a rock to rest her head on :p

She's really easy but not eating at the moment - it's supposed to be hoggy brumation time.

As for the possibility of biting, keep a bottle of alcohol nearby (any excuse ;) ) in the past I've keep some next to my monitor's viv, just in case - they don't like the taste of it.
