hi all,i know you all probs find this a stupid question but from what age does a snake go from being a juvinile to a adult or isnt there any certain age or does it vary from snake to snake?:2thumb::2thumb::2thumb:

Um I think it can vary? But I'm not sure on that...

I know royals reach the 'adult' stage at around 3 years...

It varies from species to species. I suppose you have to define what the word Adult means to answer that question fully, I guess it has something to do with the ability to reproduce.

I suppose it depends on what defines adult. Some people may say that it is when they reach full size and others may say when they are ready for breeding so i guess there might be some differing opinions here.

I would say its when they "fill out" and take on the appearance of an adult snake. With humans a 13 year old boy could reproduce but isnt an adult and i think the same applies with snakes.It would definately differ from species to species
