Hi, I know that a piebold normally has quite allot of white on its body.

One of my adults that i rescued has got a white patch on the side of its body a little bit bigger than a 50P coin. All the rest of the morph and colour is typical of a normal bp. Does this make it a Piebold ?

stick a picture up.

There are hundreds of reasons for this to happen. The chances of your being a pied are smaller than a gnats ding dong, BUT, there is still a chance

What makes a pied a pied, well the white onit and the genetics it contains. Got any pics of yours ?
It sounds like a normal really, possibly a ringer, calico although i doubt it or a very low white pied. But tbh i very much doubt it as you would pay the price for it lol, so would certainly know :)

If it's an isolated patch about the size of a 50p... is it white as in, pure white scales - or is it white as in, missing scales? Is it slightly yellow or discoloured?

It might be a piebald, but if it was a rescue/rehome snake I would think it more likely that it is a burn or scar. Pics would be great :)

It is pure white scales. There are no signs of any burns around that area nor is there any scaring around that area... It is pure jet white

Could be a ringer.
Might just be very bright blushing. My het male (het albino) has some very nice, bright almost uniform white blushing.

If it looks like that one then more likely a Pied. Only way to tell is by a picture of it. Could be an old burn or anything.

:rotfl:

This person is now thinking they have a good chance.

Realistically you haven't got a hope in hell of this being a pied.

If its from a rescue centre / home then its likely to have been mistreated so would be a burn or scar surely.

If this is a pie then it wouldn't have been mistreated because it would be either expensive or sold!

could it be Calico? i know i know old scars but he may be VERY lucky
He mentioned BOTH snakes. Calicos are rare. The chances of him having one is slim, having two however...........?
