hi,

i was wondering what was the best thermostat to use for in a beardie egg incubator, in my viv i have a cobrastat, this was advised by the petshop, would one of these be ok in the incubator, it goes off when it gets too hot and comes on when it gets a little bit cooler, will this be ok?? and if not then what sort of stat should i use??

Whats heating your incubator?

Personally, my fave would be a pulse stat - Habistat Pulse stat to be precise.

its going to be a heat mat i think, or would the water with a fish tank heater be better? as the water one would be easier for me and if i use the water one i wont need a stat

If you are using a heatmat in the incubator a pulse stat would be best as it doesnt fluctuate as much as a matstat.

The fish tank heater one is easier but the heat mat way would be safer. There's pros and cons to each just weigh them up for yourself.

i use the heat mat with a mat stat and i have hatched out 5 cresties this year
