Yesterday i started making a background out of expanding styrofoam and I was wondering what will be good to cover it with? I want it to look quite natural but not be splashing out to much cash. My ideas so far are covering it in a sandy coloured tile grout, stick sand/grit on using some kind of adhesive.
Thanks alot, Callum

You can use solvent-free paint with water varnish on it,to create a natural effect you can use fine sand spread all over the paint too

Is matt varnish ok to use in snake vivs? As that would keep a nice normal colour.
