I know crickets and veg are important, i just wanted to know if small locust are ok? and any other suggestions

I think the smallest locusts you can get are too big still. So are mealworms and waxworms.

I'd wait a little while. Just until the Beardie is a little bit bigger.

I think a general rule is not to feed food that is bigger than the space between the bd's eyes.

wax worms are small and soft so they should be fine for a baby beardie shouldnt they?

The space between the eye rule is best to go on regardless.
