I have googled pics of leo's and African fat tailed Geckos, I cant see a differance! is there one? I thought that AFT's had a more stumpy fat tail that didnt taper off at the end.

Colours, Morphs, They do look slightly different in physiology, where they come from (husbandry) and ofcourse, how common one is compared to the other :whistling2:

They are totally different! (but I'm bias as I own fatties :D )

AFT's require slightly higher humidity and are completely nocturnal (whereas leo's are crepuscular). AFT's are generally stockier and stumpier than leo's in pretty much all aspects of their body. I also find that AFT's are calmer and slower than leo's (although that could just be down to the individual). Also morph wise, fatties tend to be more limited in the amount and variation of morph (especially in the UK) although this may be down to lack of interest in the species.

Basically fatties are way better in my opinion :p
