I was wondering when people decide to candle their royal eggs. My clutches are now 5 and 6 days old and I would like to know if this is enough time for the blood vessels to have grown large enough to see.
Thank you for responding, Chris.

Don't worry people, I tried candling tonight and 9/10 are loaded with blood vessels and the other 1 only has a few smaller ones. At least I know that they are alive at the moment. : victory:

Usually you are better off doing it after 10 days or so.

Sometimes eggs can form what look like vessels as the infertile egg cooks. After 10 days it is clear what's a dud and what's good
