Hi everyone, i want to pet a few giant african snails but, i worry about that they have some paraticis as Rhabditid Nematodes. For this reason i searched about it and have found an article. I have didn't totally understand what article is saying so i want your help me to understand. Also i will hope to hear your thoughts about the article. I won't lie, I haven't read the whole thing but the first thing that I notice in the part that I have read suggests the snails used in this study were wild caught.

Wild caught animals will naturally, always pose a much higher risk of disease / parasite infestation than those that are captive bred.
