Am I able to chop my xmas tree up for branches for my snakes after xmas, or is this one of the types of wood that is toxic to snakes?

hmm, not sure... i probably wouldnt do it myself..

Yes it is toxic - all needled trees contain volatile oils which arent very good for any animals. Its a shame because it would be a good way to use it up otherwise :(
