I always though our male yemen had hit tail nipped by another hatchling when he was little. He only has 30% tail (but 100% character). However, about half of our hatchlings came out with 0-60% tail.

Other half full long curly tails - bizzarre

Sounds like you might have hit the equivalent of a Manx mutation.... interesting!

I'd be slightly concerned about the 0%-ers on the basis that other tailless animals like cats, rats and dogs can sometimes have colon and spinal problems if they're completely tailless.

never heard that one before.
There's a good stump there so 0% may be extreme.
As is always the case - these seem to have the best character. ;-)
