new iguana keeper, a little worried

hi ive got an iguana, i got him 2 days ago now and he/she is about 2 months old. he/she is 12 inches long so a good size and seems active. my problem being he still hasn't eaten anything as of yet and its worring me abit. he isn't of colour and im feeding him all the things he is supposed to eat. please help me, is it normal or should i be worried ?

Hi - welcome. I don't keep iggies but I do know that it takes most reps a while to settle into their new homes and start eating properly so I wouldn't worry for a little while yet. If you do get really worried then post in the Lizard section - you will probably get more replies.

Hia i have had an iguana, but it can take them a few weeks to eat, what is your set up like? Temps, what are you using to heat ect?

exo tetra 10.0 repti glo light and euro rep spot light i set the viv up about a month before i got him so i could play about with it and get it running smothly, the temp is 86 and i have a 12 hour light cycle the viv is 4x2x1, i know i will have to upgrade and i am starting to build a large viv for him/ her

my iggy was like that when i got him i found if i left his food in and went to another room for a while when i came back i noticed he had taken a few bits and went back to the place he was before i left, now he doesn't care i can't even put his bowl in and he is down to see what different food he is getting lol he is a wee grubber!
