It might just be the light but there seems to be a fair bit of retained skin from a previous shed?? If this is the case then the best thing to do (in my opinion) is the get a clean towel, moisten it with luke warm water, place the snake in it, then gently clasp the towel around the snake (like a sausage roll if u will lol) and let the snake wiggle its way out. The moisture will help soften the skin and the rough surface of the towel will lift the skin off the snake. well thats the theory anyway. Any probs send a PM : victory:.

Very nice Sinaloan tho mate :mf_dribble: enjoy your first snake :no1:.

Yes there was a few bits of retained skin and also a retained eye cap, took the photos before putting him/her in the bath, all skin and eyecap now successfully removed, thanks for the advice though, might be easier than bathing, lol !

I was going to say the same thing. I have a sinaloan as well. When it's shedding time I always have to give mine a wet hide or she will always retain skin. I think it's a sinaloan thing.

S/he looks very happy and healthy!! : victory:

Not just a sinaloan thing, its the same for my hondo as well lol. without a humid hide his skin comes off in bits and it's a nightmare to assist!
